DARREN EVANS
Director
is a Boston-area director, artistic director, producer, designer and overall renaissance man, currently serving as the Managing Director for Boston Playwrights' Theatre. He founded Theatre on Fire and served as Producing Artistic Director from 2005-2020. He has directed numerous IRNE and Elliot Norton nominated productions, including Mojo by Jez Butterworth, One for the Road by Harold Pinter, and Exit, Pursued by a Bear by Lauren Gunderson. He has directed and designed plays for Centastage, Company One, Fresh Ink Theatre, New Exhibition Room, Brown Box Theatre and others. He has also directed for the Boston Theatre Marathon well over a dozen times. He is a board member of StageSource and a founder of the Small Theatre Alliance of Boston. He lives in Charlestown with his wife and three cats.
SHELLEY BROWN
Actor: SONIA
has been part of the professional Boston theater scene for more than fifteen years, with credits including Nora Theatre Company, Speakeasy Stage, Huntington Theater Company, Apollinaire Theater Company, Zeitgeist Stage and Company One. She studied theater at University of Albany and Tufts University. Shelley was a founding member of the company and currently serves on its Board.
ALISHA JANSKY
Actor: MASHA
has performed with numerous Boston area theater companies including Boston Playwrights' Theatre, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, SpeakEasy Stage, and Centastage. Alisha is a graduate of Emerson College's acting program, and a member of Actors' Equity. She holds a seat on the Titanic Board of Directors and is proud to be a founding member of the company
ERIC MCGOWAN
Actor: SPIKE
is a Somerville, MA resident who has been undergoing temporary dissociative breaks from reality (also known as "acting") for nearly 30 years. Since graduating from Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, Eric has acted in local productions ranging from Shakespeare and other classics to new plays, working with companies such as Anthem Theatre Co., Apollinaire Theatre Co., and Flat Earth Theatre Co. In the "before" times, Eric had the joy of performing the title role in Praxis Stage's production of “Hamlet”. More recently, Eric has enjoyed acting in several Zoom projects, as well as directing virtual productions of "A Christmas Carol" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Eric previously studied at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA and Stella Adler Studio in New York City. During the school year, Eric teaches drama to elementary school children, showing them how it is okay to “play pretend”, even as a grown-up. Eric is thrilled to be making his debut with Titanic Theatre Company with such a fantastic cast and crew!
WILL SHAPIRO (they / them)
Actor: CASSANDRA
Will is a non-binary, Boston-based actor and director, focusing primarily in Shakespearean and other classical works. They’re beyond excited to be making both their Durang and Titanic Theatre Company debuts with this production! Favorite past acting credits include: Othello with Evergreen Theatre Collective and Much Ado About Nothing with Emerson Shakespeare Society. Will additionally works regularly with The Full Body Cast, Boston’s historic Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcast. They are currently obtaining a B.F.A. in Theatre Education and Performance from Emerson College.
ISABELLE HAHN
Actor: NINA
is so excited to make her Titanic Theatre Company debut with this cast and team. Some of her previous theater credits include No More Therapy (Marblehead Little Theater), Vessel of Glass (Another Country Productions), and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Northeastern University). She recently graduated from Northeastern University with a B.A. in journalism and wrapped her first feature film, Shadow Creek. isabellehahn.com
EMMA J. HUNT (she/her)
Stage Manager
is so thrilled to be making live theater in person again! She is a graduate of Northeastern University where she studied theatre and history. Previous stage management credits include Romeo and Juliet, The Exception and The Rule, Mr. Burns, Swiped, and How to Survive a Pandemic, an original digital theater piece. In her free time she enjoys baking, cross-stitching and watching as much nerdy television as possible.
